Intel, VICE, and W Hotels partnered up to showcase “Four Stories,” an innovative screenplay competition curated by Roman Coppola. It was the first collaboration of The Ultrabook Experience, a new initiative from Intel that features collaborations with innovative brands, emerging and established artists, and designers that use the Intel-inspired Ultrabook devices.
Intel and VICE reps reached out to us to design interactive kiosks that would be used to promote the Ultrabook. In order for the installation to be deployed in multiple cities around the globe, we had to design an environment that was not only easily assembled, but also had the ability to be flat packed. We developed a hexagonal structure that was activated by users approaching and lighting that mimicked their trackpad movements.
