The interactive heart sculpture designed in collaboration with BIG and Local Projects reflects the bright lights and pulsing energy of the city in the middle of Times Square. BIG ♥ NYC is made of a series of acrylic tubes embedded with red LEDs that pulse slowly. When the adjacent podium is touched, the heart beats faster. The more people that touch the podium and in turn each other, the faster the heart will beat and the brighter it will glow.
